First Graduates of the adult literacy program of SPI and UFS headed by Sr. Agnes Suarin, CB
In partnership with Christian Aid, the SPI Interfaith program is about accompanying peoples, groups, local churches and communities of other or no faiths in their journey to harness spirituality – vision, meaning, sense of mission, etc. – to deal with problems that hinder the realization of fullness of life for all, starting with the poorest of the poor.
The heart of the program is to enable others for integral transformation so that they are able to experience and bring spiritual, political, economic and cultural blessings to all, especially to those in the margins of church and society.

Our Interfaith work therefore goes beyond religious fellowship; it is intimately involved in works of justice to bring practical benefits and life-blessings to the poor and marginalized. Hence, the program’s emphasis on such tools and approaches like formation-education, advocacy, community development and alternative media.
