Dominican Seminarians at SHEC

April 22 – 25 – St. Hannibal Empowerment Center

The SHEC is a center at the heart of an urban poor community in Malibay, Pasay. Founded by the Rogationists, it aims to empower the poorest of the poor in collaboration with the local Church by addressing issues on housing, livelihood, education, health, environment and sanitation, justice and peace, youth formation and values formation. Fr. Dexter Prudenciano, RCJ, Executive Director and Fr. Orville Cajigal, RCJ heads the center.

During their stay in the community, the seminarians lived with two families each, from two different phases of the area. They were also able to help SHEC in the survey for gathering data on the health situation of the people.
